Verdicts publish on race morning
Race times appear here once declarations are out, usually two days before the meeting.
A race like no other
The Grand National is a marathon with a big field and unique fences. Jumping and stamina count for more than raw speed, and experience over the course can help.
The rest of the meeting
Many Cheltenham runners reappear three weeks later. Some carry their form on, others are past their peak for the season — the verdict weighs how each horse came out of it.
How to use our verdicts
Each verdict gives our chance for the main contenders and the lowest price worth taking. If the price has gone below it, we would rather pass — and so should you.
